Don't forget the peanut butter!

Tomorrow. I move to New York TOMORROW! After finishing my fourth semester at Iowa State I am unbelievably grateful for all of the amazing opportunities that I have been provided. From living in Kappa Delta to being elected SCC president. I cannot believe the year that I have had. My hard work has paid off and I have been awarded many accomplishments through the ISU fashion show and making the Dean's List by earning well above a 3.5 GPA. Tomorrow all of this hard work comes to fruition when I move to New York for the summer to pursue an incredible internship.

I am nervous and excited. Packing for three months is a lot harder than expected! The process has made me realize how many shoes I own (YIKES) and has also forced me to reevaluating how many socks and sorority t-shirts I really need to survive for 3 months. I managed to fit everything into 2 checked bags and 2 carry ons. Do not fear, I shoved cliff bars into my shoes, made sure to make room for some peanut butter, and of course I brought my running shoes.

Here is to the first of many updates! No promises on how adventurous or exciting the next 14 weeks will be, but if you choose to follow along as I take on New York expect A LOT of pictures!
